For those of you that read this blog but don’t get to see Keira a lot, her hair has become so curly. Before we went to Guatemala it was kinda straight. But the humidity there made it very curly. The strange thing is after coming home, it hasn’t gone back to how it was before, it has stayed very curly.

Hurst Castle

We went to Hurst Castle and took a tour. It was cool, but we weren’t supposed to touch anything, uhh we have Keira and there wasn’t anything she didn’t want to touch. Everyone was quite while the tour guide was talking, but Keira also doesn’t like quite plus she thought it was cool to hear her echo, so she started shouting (not crying) but shouting so she could hear an echo. We then went and saw sea lions. They were fat and lazy so Kenny (we went with Kenny and Karissa Ricks) throw rocks at them when no one was looking. Then because the tide was out Kenny and Brian went into a sea cave that was exposed. The water was so cold they screamed like girls. Also, the hills around the rode to the beach were really pretty green with lots and lots of purple and orange wild flowers that covered the whole hill.

Our days

So Mira and I went to the Scottish games last week. Huge dudes in kilts throwing all kinds of different heavy crap. They also had jousting, don’t think that’s Scottish, but they had to do a third activity. Cause bagpipes, throwing heavy stuff and beer just isn’t really a party. The food smelled terrible, what did so I married an ax murderer say, all Scottish dishes started as a dare. While we were there we picked up a mace for Jeffrey’s b-day. I think he liked it. Here is a picture of Keira wearing a Scottish wig. (nice hair Keira bear)

Just another day in the Marsh House

Well, we officially became parents today. Ok so we’ve been parents for a long time, but today we got another notch in our belt. Today Keira was down for a nap (or so we thought). When we went in to check on her she was very much awake and covered head to toe in Vaseline. It was also all over the sheets and the bed posts. 20 some odd ounces of Vaseline. It looked as if she had eaten some too. The label said call poison control…so and here it comes today we made our first call to poison control. The lady was real nice (the 911 operators were real nice too, both times Keira dialed 911), she said Keira might get diarrhea (that word is spelled funny), but it wasn’t anything to worry about. Funny thing is, we think she knows she should have been in a lot of trouble, because she was so pleasant the rest of the day smiling and flirting with us, either happy she got away with it or being nice so we wouldn’t put her in her crib for the rest of the afternoon.
